Fiestas de Gracia is on in Barcelona (19th edition this year) and it must be the most wonderful fiesta I have ever seen! I was there yesterday daytime taking pictures of all the decorated streets, and then went back at night to see how the party continued night time. Wow! Super-duper-crowded, loads of people everywhere, especially in the decorated streets, great atmosphere! There were live music in most streets, some stand up comedy and drinks and food served everywhere.
As there are so many incredible streets, I will post about one each day onwards, as I would not be able to choose just a few pictures of the (way too) many pictures I have taken. I want to show you how great this is!
Each street is decorated by a theme, and today I am presenting the Plaza de la Vila de Gracia. Welcome to the Circus!
Where to find it?

Fun pictures! I LOVE the Festa Major de Gràcia, it's one of my favorite things about Barcelona.
SvarSlettI heard they were even better pre-crisis, so I can't imagine how mind-blowing they must have been then.
I love it too, it's an absolutely amazing event!
SlettIt really makes me want to travel to Spain! :) Thanks for sharing your awesome pictures!
SvarSlettBarcelona is fabulous all year around, but I would absolutely recommend coming to experience this in August :)
Looks awesome! Barcelona is one of my top places I want to visit!
SvarSlettI recommend Barcelona with all of my heart!
